Alt-pop singer D4vd transferred ownership of 2 Texas homes into his mother’s name. The news comes as TMZ and other outlets report an arrest is imminent in the Celeste Rivas Hernandez case in California.
Property records viewed by TMZ show he transferred his Cypress home, located in the Houston area, to his mother’s name on Sept. 23. A second house was also transferred into his mother’s name on Sept. 22.
A third Houston area home is still in his name.
The 15-year-old’s badly decomposed body was found on Sept. 8 in the trunk of a Tesla Model X that was registered to D4vd, real name David Anthony Burke, 20.
Apple’s streetview map shows the short route from D4vd’s rental house in the Hollywood Hills to a spot around the corner where the Tesla was parked for at least a month. The car was ticketed twice in February near that spot.
It was ticketed again in early September and towed to a police impound lot on Sept. 5.
Police made the gruesome discovery in the trunk after tow yard workers called 911 to report a foul odor.
Investigators are awaiting toxicology results before determining a cause of death.
D4vd is not named as a suspect yet. But charges could be filed as soon as next week.
D4vd’s parents, Dawud and Colleen Burke, and his 2 siblings already live in one of the homes. Police were called to the house on Sept. 17 in what turned out to be a swatting incident.
D4vd retained Harvey Weinstein’s lawyer Blair Berk to represent him in criminal court if and when charges are filed. Berk is a best criminal defense attorney.
At the minimum, D4vd may be charged with indecency crimes against a minor. Celeste was only 12 when D4vd allegedly met her and began dating her.
Early on in the investigation, D4vd wiped all videos and images of Celeste from his social media accounts and his Discord server.
In the image on the right, D4vd’s T-shirt reads “I love my girlfriend” with an image of D4vd and Celeste on the front.
There are unconfirmed rumors that police are investigating 2 missing underage girls who allegedly had contact with D4vd.
The news that D4vd may soon be arrested angered his loyal fans.
