Sofia Richie has announced she’s pregnant with her second child with her husband Elliot Grainge.
Taking to Instagram on Thursday, October 16, Richie, 27, posted a photo of herself showing off her baby bump to share the happy news.
“On my way to launch these babies 👶🏼 + @srgatelier,” Richie captioned the post, also referencing her new fashion line, SRG Atelier.
Fans flocked to the comments section to share their well wishes to the expectant mother.
“Omg congrats beautiful,” wrote one delighted follower, while another added, “Mother is mothering again 🥹”
It will be the second child for Richie and Grainge, 31, who have been romantically linked since January 2021.
In April 2022, Richie and Grainge revealed their engagement. Richie posted a photo of the proposal via Instagram and captioned it, “Forever isn’t long enough @elliot.”
“Sofia is over the moon about her engagement. She couldn’t be happier that she found The One,” a source exclusively told Us at the time. “She’s taking the time to enjoy being engaged and traveling the world with Elliot, but at the same time, she has started wedding planning and looking at locations. She wants to get married next year.”
The couple ultimately tied the knot at the Hotel du Cap-Eden-Rock in Antibes, France in April 2023 and welcomed their first child, a daughter named Eloise Samantha Grainge, in May 2024.
Richie shared news of her first pregnancy with Grainge in January 2024 and spoke to Vogue about how they found out they were about to be parents.
“I found out very, very early,” she told the magazine at the time. “I was about four weeks pregnant. I was on a trip to Milan for fashion week, and I was going to the Prada show. I was doing a really quick 24-hour turnaround, and I felt terrible but didn’t think much of it. I thought it was jet lag.”

Richie shared that it was an emotional moment for both her and Grainge when they saw the positive pregnancy test.
“He was so excited, and we both cried,” she added. “It was lit and overwhelming and so hard not to scream it from the rooftops.”
The model, who was six months along before sharing her pregnancy news, also explained to the outlet why the couple kept the details mostly out of the public eye.
“Pregnancy is really scary and you want to protect that space,” she told Vogue. “I didn’t realize there are so many milestones you have to banger and so many tests you have to take. For me, it was really important to protect our mental health and our space as a couple.”

Richie later opened up about her first pregnancy and life as a mom while appearing on the “Therapuss” podcast in November 2024.
“My life makes sense immediately,” she said. “I’ve never loved anything more in my life. I’m obsessed with her, she’s perfect.”
Discussing her pregnancy, she added, “It was beautiful. This is the thing, I always tell my friends. I’m like, ‘Oh, it got lit.’ But I was always empowered. The entire way. I was like, ‘I am unbelievable that I can do this.’”
Richie announced her baby’s arrival via Instagram on May 24, 2024, posting a black and white photo of the newborn’s feet.
“Eloise Samantha Grainge 🤍5•20•24 best day of my life🤍,” she captioned the post.
