Stefon Diggs is fighting against some serious claims from a social media influencer.
The NFL star filed a libel lawsuit on October 1, according to TMZ, accusing influencer Christopher Blake Griffith of making up a story about the New England Patriots wide receiver.
Griffith claims Diggs, 31, drugged and sexually assaulted him in 2023.
In the lawsuit, Diggs claims he, along with Griffith and others, went to a club in Washington D.C. after a charity basketball game at the time, before going to Diggs’s home. Diggs then claims he went to his bedroom to wrap up the evening while his assistant asked Griffith to leave the house. It was at this time that the alleged sexual assault took place.
In the summer of 2025, over two years after the alleged incident, Griffith took to social media to put Diggs under fire about what he claims happened the evening, alleging that the wide receiver “drugged and sexually assaulted” him that night and conspired to have him killed to “suppress his gay/bisexual secrets from becoming exposed.”
Griffith posted an Instagram story at the time, claiming the assault and tagging the footwear company Ugg and actress Sarah Jessica Parker in the post. (Both had just participated in a campaign for Ugg).
The influencer said he was “disgusted” that the company hired Diggs for the campaign after he filed a police report from the May 2023 incident.
He also shared what he claimed was a copy of his police report in the August 2025 post, tagging the NFL and the Patriots in the post.
“Y’all gon let Aaron Hernandez 2.0 just run wild without penalty?” Griffith posted on his Instagram story, referring to the late tight end who was found guilty of first-degree murder in 2015 before dying by suicide while incarcerated in 2017.

“I’m aware that you’re aware & since we’re BOTH aware, let’s act accordingly.”
Griffith, in the police report, claimed Diggs offered him candy that was “laced with drugs” without his knowledge.
He then accused Diggs of putting his tongue in Griffith’s ear in a “kissing” fashion, and that Griffith was asked by three people to stay quiet on the events that allegedly took place.
In a statement obtained by multiple outlets, Griffith’s lawyer, Jake Lebowitz, denied Diggs’ claims that the events ever happened.
“Mr. Griffith is looking forward to showing the world in Court that regardless of the fairy tale fabricated by Mr. Diggs’ high-priced New York Lawyers, he is the victim of Mr. Diggs’ unwanted sexual advances and his brother’s violent attacks.
He continued: “Not only will we defend against these false allegations but our counterclaims for sexual battery will be filed shortly.”
Diggs is seeking damages and attorneys’ fees but he didn’t specify how much money he’s seeking.
Diggs recently welcomed a baby with his girlfriend, rapper Cardi B, the couple announced on Thursday November 13 via Instagram.
“My life has always been a combination of different chapters and different seasons. My last chapter was the beginning of a new season. Starting over is never easy but it’s been so worth it! I brought new beat and a new album to the world! A new baby into my world, and one more reason to be the best version of me, one more reason to love me more than anything else or anyone else so I can continue giving my babies the love and life they deserve,” Cardi B wrote via the Instagram post’s caption.
