Incident Summary
BPD officers responded to at least 200 reported incidents in the covered 24-hour period. Massachusetts’ privacy law prevents police from releasing information involving domestic and sexual violence arrests with the goal of protecting the alleged victims.
According to information provided by the BPD, in that time period there were no reported homicides. However, the department responded to one robbery, six aggravated assaults, two commercial burglaries and two residential burglaries, three instances of larceny from a vehicle, 19 other cases of larceny, and zero reported auto thefts.
