OFFICERS SAY THIS HAPPENED AT BOSTON CLEANERS ON NORTH CHURCH STREET IN BROAD DAYLIGHT JUST AFTER 3:00 THIS AFTERNOON. INVESTIGATORS SAY THE SUSPECT ASSAULTED THE VICTIM, THEN LEFT WITH AN UNDISCLOSED AMOUNT OF MONEY IN THE VICTIM’S VEHICLE. THAT VEHICLE IS A BURGUNDY OH TWO NISSAN XTERRA WITH NORTH CAROLINA LICENSE PLATE PL7115. INVESTIGATORS SAY THE SUSPECT IS ABOUT 510, 250 POUNDS. A suspect is wanted after an incident at a Triad business, according to officers with the Burlington Police Department.On Monday, just after 3 p.m., officers said they were dispatched to Boston Cleaners, located at 2182 North Church Street, after reports of a robbery. When they arrived, they found someone who had been physically assaulted.Officials said the victim was taken to a local hospital and treated for non-life-threatening injuries. The initial investigation revealed that the suspect is a male who is approximately 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighs 240 pounds. He may have a goatee tied with a rubber band.Officials said the suspect physically assaulted the victim and fled the scene with cash. He also stole the victim’s car, which is a burgundy 2002 Nissan Xterra with the North Carolina license plate number PLH-7115.
