Aussie influencer Tammy Hembrow was noticeably absent from the Brownlow Medal red carpet on Monday evening, despite sparking dating rumours with AFL star Bailey Smith.
The Geelong star, 24, insisted the pair are “just mates” after being grilled during a radio interview with KIIS FM’s Kyle Sandilands this week, before the sporting event.

The star was has been worlds away from the bright lights of Melbourne and on a trip away instead in recent days.
The fitness entrepreneur and mother of three, who is based on the Gold Coast, has recently enjoyed a family break in the idyllic Byron Bay, in Northern NSW, with her kids, despite it being AFL’s night of nights this week.
Just a day ago, seemingly before the event, she shared some images of herself enjoying her downtime and relaxing in the pool at her resort, captioning the post: “Holiday often.”

She also enjoyed a night out in a navy polka dot dress and captioned some pictures: “Disco disco.”
But it remains unclear exactly when she returned home from her Byron Bay break.
She also shared a picture revealing she is getting certified in scuba diving.
On Monday morning, Smith appeared on The Kyle and Jackie O Show and was quizzed about his rumoured relationship with Hembrow and whether she was going to the Brownlow Medal with him later that evening.
“No, I’m not [taking her]… I didn’t want to bore her with footy all night,” he said on air.
“She’s not a big footy fan. And we’re just mates.”
“No, we’re just mates,” he said again when he was probed further about their nature of their rumoured relationship.

The pair have been pictured together in recent weeks and also went ”Instagram official” while on a dinner date.
Hembrow shared a story with Smith’s hand on her knee and he reposted it on his stories.
Just days ago, Hembrow shared a cryptic TikTok video that appeared to be about her split from former Love Island star husband, Matthew Zukowski.
Hembrow sung lyrics to a song which said she ‘made it to September’ and added in her caption: “Feb me would be very happy rn”.
“It gets better,” she added.

They had married in a stunning ceremony at Chateau Du Soleil in Byron Bay in November last year.
