Read further to know what triggered Tanya Mittal’s vulnerable side and why she was sobbing at Malti’s words.
Tanya Mittal, who is currently inside the Bigg Boss 19 house, has once again become the center of controversy and attention. Tanya Mittal, known for her lavish lifestyle, expensive sarees, and spiritual personality and beliefs, has revealed a more vulnerable side of herself to the world in the recent episodes of the reality TV show. During the new captaincy task, the new wildcard contestant Malti Chahar questioned Tanya’s claims about her financial situation and lifestyle. She also suggested that Tanya might be exaggerating. Malti hinted that Tanya’s family could be worried about her outside the show.
Malti’s remarks ended up deeply affecting Tanya, who later broke down in tears in front of Zeishan Qadri. Zeishan tried to comfort her and advised her not to let Malti’s comments impact her performance and overthinking, reminding her that it might just be a tactic to weaken her game. Tanya opened up about how Malti’s comments triggered back difficult memories from earlier this year. “Whenever my family name comes up, I usually give up,” she admitted, adding that repeated online trolling has made her even more anxious.
Tanya recounted the backlash she faced after the February 2025 Maha Kumbh event. She had shared a video on Instagram highlighting a tragic stampede that killed over thirty people, followed by another crowd crush. Although she spent 14 hours saving lives and spoke the truth, she was accused of spreading false information, resulting in the loss of security and professional contracts. The incident left a lasting emotional impact, which resurfaced during her confrontation with Malti in the house.
