Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s dad are already proving they’re one big happy family. The singer was spotted sharing an adorable moment with Ed Kelce during the Kansas City Chiefs’ Sunday night game — and yes, her engagement ring was front and center.
Taylor, 35, attended the matchup between the Chiefs and the Detroit Lions at Arrowhead Stadium, where cameras caught her hanging out in a suite alongside Ed and Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark. It didn’t take long for viewers to notice the sweet exchange between Taylor and her future father-in-law: the two shared a warm hug as Taylor beamed. “Supporting the Chiefs,” the NFL’s official X account captioned the clip, which quickly racked up over 300,000 views and thousands of likes.
Taylor was fully in game-day mode, wearing a black Chiefs jersey paired with gold accessories — and of course, her sparkling engagement ring. Ed Kelce showed his team spirit too, rocking a classic red Kelce jersey. Caitlin, who previously attended a Chiefs game with Taylor in January, sported a Chiefs jacket and joined in the celebrations.
This game was extra special for fans. While Taylor had been seen at two earlier matchups in September, this was her first on-air appearance since news of her engagement to Travis broke in August. During the broadcast, the cameras frequently cut to the “Actually Romantic” singer cheering in between plays as she watched Travis and the Chiefs defeat the Lions 30–17.

Taylor Swift Balances Her Busy Schedule to Support Travis
Taylor’s appearance comes during an especially hectic time for the superstar. She released her 12th studio album, The Life of a Showgirl, on October 3 and immediately dove into a whirlwind promotional schedule. She performed and chatted on The Graham Norton Show, The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and Late Night With Seth Meyers — but even with her packed calendar, Taylor continues to show up for Travis at Chiefs games, just as she’s done since the couple went public in 2023.
In a recent interview with the BBC’s Scott Mills on The Scott Mills Breakfast Show, Taylor opened up about supporting each other despite their very different careers. “It just is the most fun thing in the world to be able to support each other and the sort of polarity of how different our jobs are,” she explained. “But there’s a lot of similarities, too. We both, as a living, as a job, as a passion, perform for three and a half hours in NFL stadiums.
“When I’m in those stadiums, it’s a dressing room, but when he’s in those exact same stadiums, it’s a locker room. For him, it’s practice, for me, it’s rehearsal. For him, it’s a game, for me, it’s a show—we just call them different things. We both have teams—it’s a very similar thing.”
