Taylor Swift kept a very low profile at the Kansas City Chiefs game this week!
On Sunday, fans were excited to see the pop star make her first appearance at Arrowhead Stadium since Travis Kelce popped the question. But the singer ditched her usual flashy entrance for a much more stealthy arrival!
In a video caught of her arriving at the game, well, the 35-year-old couldn’t actually be seen at all. She was ushered in behind a large screen blocking her from view! The only clues it was her? Fans spotted her bodyguard as well as a glimpse of her mother, Andrea, and possibly her brother, Austin, behind the screen.

Taylor then watched the game in peace — with NO NFL cameras showing her in her private suite during the game! Whoa! That’s rare! So, what’s going on?? It’s all very unusual, you know?
The bizarre entrance has sparked a ton of wild theories from Swifties online. They wrote on X (Twitter):
“Either something is going on, or us swifites are just losing our minds”
“This is not helping the pregnancy rumors”
“She pregnant?!?!? I know I shouldn’t assume, but what else could it be??? Maybe she broke a leg or something??”
“Did she like dye her hair or something that we can’t see yet?”
“She probably has a new look for the album release”
Others recalled the cleaning cart Taylor hid in to travel to the stage during the Eras Tour, teasing:
“She misses the eras tour”
“What in the eras tour is this?”
Sadly, it seems more likely that this is an important safety protocol, perhaps spurred on by the death of conservative figure Charlie Kirk just last week. Fans pointed out:
“We don’t have any idea what goes on in her life behind the scenes.. this world is wild right today.. I don’t blame her for anything she feels she needs to feel safe.”
“i think is for her safety.. y’all are reaching with those pregnancy rumors… God forbid a woman get some privacy”
“I wonder if there have been increased threats to her safety after Kirk’s death.”
The Grammy winner has faced tons of threats in the past, unfortunately. And so it does seem like this safety theory could be the most accurate of all. In fact, that big screen Tay Tay walked in behind? It looks a LOT like a bulletproof one if you do a quick Google search.
Scary times we live in, especially for someone so high profile. We’re glad she took the necessary steps to make herself feel more comfortable, if this is the case.
