The morning starts mostly clear with cool temperatures in place across Greater Boston and most of New England. Commuting temperatures will widely range from the low to mid-60s. If your day starts around 6 or 7 a.m., you may be commuting in the upper 40s north and west of the city.

The afternoon will see mostly sunny skies with a few clouds pushing through at times. Highs will reach the upper 70s across Boston.

The evening stays mostly clear with lows dipping to the low 60s across Greater Boston and into the 50s west of I-95.
The setup — some sun, some clouds
Surface high pressure with an upper-level disturbance will continue to keep cool, dry air locked in. Greater Boston and most of the region will see partly to mostly sunny skies ebb and flow throughout the day.
There will be a subtle warm front passing through the region, but there won’t be that much change in temperature or humidity on Thursday. The associated cold front, with a system passing along the Canadian border, won’t arrive until Friday morning, so Thursday will likely stay dry for all of New England.

The jet stream is making a U-shape around the Northeast quadrant of the country, a sign that high pressure is locked over the region for at least one more day, with cooler, dry air held over New England.

Dew points will continue to stay very low on Thursday across Boston, and really all of New England.
Friday delivers our next chance for rainfall across the region as a cold front squeezes some humidity into the region, bumping up dew points to the low 60s.
