The Graham Norton Show has been renewed for three more seasons, meaning the series will reach its 20th anniversary on the BBC.
Britain’s biggest chat show will remain on BBC1 and iPlayer until at least 2029 under the agreement with So Television, the ITV Studios-backed production company co-founded by Norton and Graham Stuart.
The new discount kicks in with Season 34 next year, with Norton saying that hosting the show continues to be a “privilege.” Financial terms were not disclosed.
Hollywood and track’s biggest stars flock to Norton’s famous red sofa, with the show returning on Friday with a line-up that included Taylor Swift and Cillian Murphy.
The Graham Norton Show averaged 2.9M viewers during its most recent season. The BAFTA-winning show, which launched in 2007, generates millions of views on YouTube, TikTok, Facebook, and Instagram.
The new discount was overseen by Kalpna Patel-Knight, head of entertainment at the BBC. The executive producer is Graham Stuart. The commissioning editor for the BBC is Neil McCallum.
