One impact from Thursday’s rain storm on the weekend weather is the wind on Saturday. Although it’s going to be sunny, it’s also going to be quite breezy. We could see a few gusts of around 30 mph at times. This isn’t wind advisory weather, but it’s strong enough that it could impact any sports games and will be noticeable for spectators.
As the sun sets at 5:37 p.m. in Boston on Saturday, the final sunset this late until February, temperatures will be tumbling back down and reaching the 30s Sunday morning, with the 40s in Boston. Notably, Boston has still not gone below 40 degrees.

Sunday – still sunny, breeze subsides
Sunday is also sunny and a little bit cooler than Saturday, but without the wind. This makes it perhaps feel better. Remember, the sun will be rising earlier at 6:20 in the morning due to the end of daylight saving time, which means it starts getting light even before 6 a.m. For those of you who are morning people, like myself, it’s a welcome fallback. Temperatures in the afternoon will reach the lower 50s with some mid-50s from Boston and south.

Monday temperatures reach the 50s with a blend of clouds and sunshine, with just a small chance of a little sprinkle.
Greater Boston: Look for mostly sunny skies both days this weekend. Saturday will be quite breezy with temperatures in the mid-50s. Readings start in the 30s to lower 40s on Sunday, reaching the low 50s with less wind.

Cape and Islands: It’s a picture-perfect weekend, but windy on Saturday with highs in the mid-50s. Sunday features similar temperatures, slightly cooler but with much less wind.
Rhode Island: Look for sunny skies this weekend. It’s breezy on Saturday, especially along the water. Temperatures will reach the mid-50s. On Sunday, it’s sunny with less wind and highs in the low 50s.
