Over the next couple years, she gave memorable roles in films like Mandi (1983), Saraansh (1984), Trikaal (1985), and Khamosh (1986). She also became a household name through the TV serial Buniyaad (1986).
Career Slowdown After Marriage
However, after marrying Mahesh Bhatt, Soni’s career took a back seat. In an interview, she revealed that at that time, married actresses often stopped getting film offers, and she faced the same fate. As soon as news of her marriage spread, work opportunities dried up.
