A Patiala district court has summoned YouTuber and Bigg Boss OTT 3 participant Armaan Malik and his wives Payal and Kritika Malik in relation to two different court proceedings. The court has ordered all three to appear on September 2, according to news reports. Malik spoke candidly to ETimes TV about his experience on Bigg Boss OTT 3 last year, when he entered the reality show with both of his wives, calling it a “historic” occasion at a time when the YouTuber is embroiled in controversy about his personal life and purported four marriages.
Armaan Malik on his Bigg Boss participation with…
“This is going to go down in Bigg Boss history that we entered the show together and I was able to handle things well with them. Also, Payal and Kritika are very sensible, strong, and capable of standing up for themselves,” he said.
Armaan Malik on his marital choices
Responding to criticism over his marital choices, Malik added, “I am not here to change anyone’s thinking or mindset. I just want to take care of my home and my wives. Everyone’s life is different. Every man wants to have two wives in their life, but it doesn’t happen for most because they can’t handle the first one.”
Petition over four marriages
The summons comes after Davinder Rajput submitted a petition alleging that Malik had four marriages, which is against the Hindu Marriage Act, which permits just one marriage per person for Hindus.
The petition alleges that Armaan and Payal Malik have offended religious feelings in addition to the bigamy charges. According to the report, Payal sparked controversy when she appeared in an Instagram video dressed as the Hindu goddess Kali. According to Indian law, the petitioner contends that this act violated religious convictions and is illegal. Investigation on the matter is ongoing.
