“Love & Hip Hop” star Tommie Lee is under fire after a light-hearted confrontation over airport parking spiraled into a viral moment.
In a immediately widely circulated video, reality TV personality Tommie Lee was seen trying to beg a parking lot attendant for a discount after returning to retrieve her car, which had reportedly been parked at the airport for nine days.
When the attendant informed Lee of the full charge for the extended stay and reportedly denied her request for a discount, she jokingly raised her voice in protest and threatened to call U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) on the attendant, referencing his Haitian and African descent.
Fans reacted to the clip in the comments section and found the interaction unamusing.
“Nah she gotta stay off that s–t, this is not funny at all,” one viewer wrote.
“You can’t joke about things that have real life consequences and that hurts people in reality,” another viewer wrote.
While a third wrote, “I’m sorry in todays environment something like this is not funny.”

The Haitian community is one of the groups targeted by Trump’s administration. During his presidential campaign last year, Trump even claimed that Haitian migrants were eating the “cast and dogs” of American citizens.
This isn’t the first time Lee has made headlines for controversial behavior. The former Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta cast member has faced legal troubles in the past, including a series of arrests and public altercations.
