“I owe my guy big time, man, X knows it,” Travis admitted during the Sept. 10 episode of New Heights. “I felt like s–t, I could barely even f–kin’ play the rest of that first half, man.”
The Happy Gilmore 2 star noted he was relieved the 22-year-old was okay, adding, “We girded up once I found out that he was in better spirits than I imagined.”
And though the collision was a total accident for both players, Travis took full accountability for the flub.
“I just gotta be better,” he explained. “I’m 13 years in the league there’s no excuse for me running into my own guys like that and being able to play speedy and help.”
But while Travis’ 13th season is off to a rocky start, he’s never down for too long.
“I love being the happiest guy in the world all the f–king time,” Travis told GQ in an Aug. 12 interview. “I’m like, ‘I’m in the NFL, guy! I love this shit! I finally get the ball in my hands and I have millions of people watching me, this s–t is exciting!’”
