Honoring Charlie …
Before ‘Fight Night’ Event
Published
The UFC will honor the late Charlie Kirk on Saturday at “Noche UFC” … days after the beloved activist was assassinated on a college campus in Utah.
TMZ Sports has learned the fight promotion will pay tribute to Kirk near the leading of the main event at 6 PM ET … going down in front of a packed crowd at Frost Bank Center in San Antonio.
The specifics of the tribute aren’t known.
It’s not surprising to see the UFC honor Charlie. Dana White, who appeared on CK’s popular podcast in 2023, had a warm relationship with Kirk, a big sports fan, over the years.
In fact, Charlie once described Dana as the “best president of any sports league.”
In the wake of Charlie’s assassination, scores of fighters, including Henry Cejudo, Jorge Masvidal, Gilbert Burns, Aljamain Sterling, and many others have expressed condolences.

The Joe Rogan Experience
Joe Rogan weighed in in real time. The podcaster and UFC commentator was recording a podcast with Charlie Sheen at the time of the murder.
And, it’s not just the MMA world that has honored Kirk in the wake of the horrific act of violence.
Before tonight’s game we held a moment of silence in memoriam of Charlie Kirk.

@Yankees
The New York Yankees and Chicago Cubs (Charlie was a huge fan) honored Kirk this week, as did the NFL before the Green Bay Packers vs. Washington Commanders Thursday Night Football game.
Several college football teams have also done the same … and you can bet there will be more on Sunday as the majority of the week 2 games commence.
R.I.P., Charlie.
