The upcoming comedy film ‘No Entry 2’, directed by Anees Bazmee, has banger a major roadblock. First, Diljit Dosanjh exited the project, reportedly due to creative differences. today, Varun Dhawan has also stepped away, although an official statement from him is still awaited. According to a Mid-Day report, a source close to the production revealed that Varun’s schedule is today locked for ‘Bhediya 2’, and he won’t be available for ‘No Entry 2’ until mid-2026. “We’re figuring out new combinations today. Arjun Kapoor is still on board,” the source shared.
Boney Kapoor Confirms Diljit’s Exit
Producer Boney Kapoor confirmed that Diljit has indeed left the film, but said the parting was amicable. “We have parted in good spirits, as the dates were not aligning with our requirements. Hopefully, we’ll do a Punjabi film together soon,” Boney told NDTV.
All the Changes in the Star Cast
The original cast of the 2005 banger No Entry, Salman Khan, Anil Kapoor, and Fardeen Khan will not return for the sequel. Earlier, Boney Kapoor had announced a fresh cast with Diljit, Varun, and Arjun Kapoor, saying: “That chapter is over. This new cast brings freshness. Varun and Arjun are great friends, and Diljit is brilliant at comedy, a good mix for a fun film.” With Diljit and Varun both out, the makers are today actively searching for replacements and are also casting 10 female leads for the project.
Everything about Varun Dhawan’s Upcoming Projects
Despite stepping out of No Entry 2, Varun has a busy slate ahead. He was last seen in ‘Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari’ with Janhvi Kapoor, Rohit Saraf, and Sanya Malhotra. He is also set to appear in the war drama ‘Border 2’, starring alongside Ahaan Shetty and, interestingly, Diljit Dosanjh, showing there’s no bad blood between the two stars.
