Son of renowned Malayalam actor Prem Nazir, actor Shanavas (70) died late Monday night. He passed away at approximately 11:50 PM at a private hospital in Thiruvananthapuram, where he had been receiving treatment for heart and kidney conditions from the previous four years. Shanavas lived in Vazhuthacaud’s Cordon Trinity 2B neighbourhood. After his condition apparently deteriorated on Monday night, he was taken to the hospital and tragically died there. The funeral will take place at the Palayam Muslim Jamaat Cemetery today, August 5.
