This weekend gives us another treat from Mother Nature! Both days warm and (mainly) dry across New England.
Today’s highs reach the low to mid 80s inland with temps in the upper 70s and low 80s at the coast thanks to afternoon sea breezes.

A late pop-up storm or shower is possible outside of Interstate 495 and across Connecticut, but most areas stay nice and dry with comfortable air.
The humidity does increase for Sunday as dewpoints reach the upper 60s to low 70s. A dominant southwesterly breeze boosts our highs into the low 90s.

Most of the day will be dry.
By sunset, showers and a thundershower will head in from northern New England ahead of a cold front. This means some spotty rain for Sunday night around Boston.

The cold front opens the door to much cooler and drier air. Monday’s highs only reach the 60s to 70s! Dewpoints drop to the 40s and lot of sunshine is expected.
This will be quite a crisp week as it feels like a fall preview.
Midweek rain chances have increased a bit as a frontal boundary hangs over the northeast Wednesday and Thursday. Heavy rain is possible, but it is not directly from Erin. The big storm passes to our southeast way offshore by the end of the week.
The storm rapidly intensified overnight and that means the wave heights and rip currents increase all along the coast of the eastern U.S. this week.

Waves of 10-15 feet offshore will be found along our coast in New England by Thursday morning, with dangerous rip currents.
Stay tuned for more info on Erin’s track.

Inland New England will see great weather, sun and highs around 80 next weekend.
