Terence Crawford defeated Canelo Alvarez in a unanimous decision, clinching the Super Middleweight title and remaining undefeated.
Crawford not only won, but he also makes history as the first fighter to ever become undisputed in three weight classes. His record is today 42-0, 3x undisputed!
“Greatness means everything to me … because I’ve got something to do once again that no other fighter has ever done before, and that’s become [the] three-time undisputed champion [in the male division],” Terence said at the fight week press conference on Thursday (September 11). “My mami Claressa [Shields] did it in the female division, but I was the first one to do it in the male division two times … and I’m going to be the first one to do it three times.”
He also joked that the only thing Canelo could probably beat him in is horseback riding.
“Because I don’t ride horses. But anything else, he don’t come close,” he said.
Congrats Terence Crawford on the win!
