Ever since Prince Harry and Meghan Markle got married, there has been a subset of people who have been convinced that their differences would lead to divorce. Those differences mostly have to do with upbringing, and the two have always seemed outwardly supportive and affectionate with each other, but that hasn’t changed some people’s minds about the matter. And immediately, those people are convinced divorce is imminent.
RadarOnline.com is reporting that Harry’s desire to reconcile with his family and the fact that he and Markle are immediately pursuing their own projects has created a “rift that is sure to end in divorce.”

These tensions reportedly could be seen when the couple made a recent joint appearance at the Project Healthy Minds gala in New York to receive a humanitarian award. Observers claimed the two seemed uncomfortable while posing for pictures, and that there’s a battle for control in their marriage.
“There’s definitely been a shift in Harry. Since seeing his father in the U.K., he’s become more confident and self-assured. It’s as if he’s finally realized he doesn’t have to live in Meghan’s shadow anymore – and that’s completely unsettled the balance between them,” a source said.
Another source reiterated the same. “Meghan‘s always been the one calling the shots, but lately Harry’s stopped just going along with everything. He’s started pushing back, speaking up when something doesn’t sit right with him. At the gala, you could tell his heart wasn’t in it – people around them have been saying for weeks that he’s slowly pulling away.”
Those people point to the differences that have always been obvious about the two, but also about the career paths that they have chosen and want to take. “They’ve evolved in completely different directions. Harry’s craving stability, family, and a sense of purpose, while Meghan’s focused on ambition, visibility, and status. It’s a recipe for trouble – and those close to them can see it coming,” the outlet also reported.
However, these reports come after recent reports that Prince Harry was pretty upset about the way Markle had been treated after she posted a video from Paris that people said was disrespectful to Princess Diana’s memory. “Harry was left hurt and upset. Diana’s death was used as a stick to beat his wife with. [Meghan] did not even pass close to the tunnel,” a source told The Daily Mail. “The whole thing is a joke, but not a very funny one for Harry.”
Reportedly, “He was left feeling hurt, but the depressing thing is he wasn’t even that surprised. He was more despondent than shocked.” People also reported that a source close to Harry said he “will always protect his wife and family from what he sees as unkind, negative, and agenda-driven media narratives.
We have no way of knowing if the recent reports about their differences are that or something more serious, but chances are that if there are issues between them, we will find out sooner rather than later. In the meantime, we’ll continue to assume their marriage is just fine.
