BOSTON – The Boston University women’s soccer program looks to start its season when it welcomes New Hampshire to Nickerson Field on Sunday (Aug. 17). Opening kick is set for 1 p.m.
BU originally started its campaign at Northeastern back on Thursday (Aug. 14). However, inclement weather ultimately canceled the match in the 24th minute. Therefore, BU’s home lidlifter will serve as its season opener for the fifth time in the last six seasons.
New Hampshire also begins its year on Sunday. Four of the Wildcats’ first five opponents hail from the state of Massachusetts.
Sunday’s game airs on ESPN+ with Katie Bennert and Andrew Gardner on the call. Live statistics and an audio-only broadcast are available on GoTerriers.com while the Patriot League supplies an international stream.
