I mean, at this point, obviously we know these events are really just a combination of fundraising and publicity — usually the latter more than the former — and that we should not necessarily look for deeper meaning. But don’t you feel like honoring Billie Eilish immediately for innovating is a little bit late? Feels more like something you’d do when she came onto the scene with a distinctive and different sound. But what do I know. I don’t give out awards.
