Zara Larsson finds it “strange” that so many people want to pit her and Tate McRae against each other.
The two pop stars have been working side-by-side since August, when the 27-year-old Swedish singer joined Tate‘s Miss Possessive Tour as a supporting act. With their time together on tour completed (Alessi Rose will take over for the next leg of the tour), Zara posted a sweet tribute to the Canadian native on her Instagram.

She published several photos and video clips from her set, along with an adorable snapshot of her and Tate happily pressed cheek-to-cheek.
The “Blue Moon” singer penned a lengthy caption, thanking Tate for sharing her stage. But she also acknowledged how “strange” it has been to see people trying to pit them against each other.
Zara assures her followers that they are “just two pop girls who love and support each other back stage!”
“Not only are you insanely talented, something we all can tell from seeing you on stage every night, but you have an incredible team around you,” she continued, “The dancers, band, crew, team, drivers, and tech have been a joy to be around and I always feel like that says a lot about how a person works. You set the bar. You set the standard. You are a super star. Just know, I will always have your back! Thank you for this experience!!!”
