
Two people were taken to the hospital after a three-alarm fire tore through a Dorchester home Wednesday evening, the Boston Fire Department said.The blaze started at a Beckett Street multi-family home at approximately 7 p.m.The rear porches of the home were completely burned through after fire crews managed to knock down the heavy portion of the fire by 7:30 p.m.The flames were completely put out by 8 p.m.18 people and several pets were displaced as a result of the fire.
