9-1-1 is preparing to return with Season 9, and some social media users are having fun at the show’s dramatic expense.

Social media has been playfully taking jabs at the acting depicted in the teaser, including parodies and hilarious comments about the actors’ reaction to the apparent end of days.

The clip, set to Alex Warren‘s “Ordinary,” features Jennifer Love Hewitt as Maddie Han looking up at the sky, and Eddie Diaz (Ryan Guzman) taking off his sunglasses to look at the apparent meteors falling.
Howie Han (Kenneth Choi) and Evan Buckley (Oliver Stark) appear next, as Evan asks: “What the heck is that?”
Maddie says, “Oh my God.”
“Everybody! Take cover!” Eddie yells.
Howie also puts out an alert: “118, brace for impact!”
Real talk though I think part of the reason the 9-1-1 trailer is going triple platinum on tiktok is because it’s the first prevalent, genuinely bad non-AI art we’ve seen in a while
Nature is healing. Cable TV editors have a $30 budget and a dream.
