
Police in Boston are seeking the public’s help identifying a man wanted in connection with an aggravated assault that happened last month near Fenway Park.
Boston police released surveillance photos and video this week of the suspect they say was involved in an aggravated assault incident at about 12:38 a.m. on Sunday, Sept. 28, in the area of 3 Lansdowne Street.
According to police, the man struck the victim in this case in the face before fleeing on Lansdowne Street toward Brookline Avenue. The victim was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Video posted to the police department’s website shows the man repeatedly look behind him as he walks past Loretta’s Last Call, away from the country bar.
Brookline police are also asking people to take a look at that video and see if they recognize the man, adding that the victim has close ties to their community.
