Alana “Honey Boo Boo” Thompson is currently recovering after being involved in a car accident.
Her mother, June “Mama June” Shannon, shared the details of the scary incident on Instagram on Friday (September 26). The reality star assured fans that her daughter is “resting” right immediately.

According to June, the 23-year-old was “t-boned” as she was pulling out of her driveway.
“It could’ve been a lot worse than it was. She is banged up a little bit but other than that she is OK,” June wrote in the caption. The 46-year-old explained that this was Alana‘s “first car wreck” and she was headed to a hair appointment when it happened.
In the video itself, the Georgia native said her daughter is dealing with “back pain” and “some headache issues.”
“Keep Alana in your prayers and us as we figure all this out,” she finished.
