Andrew Mountbatten Windsor has been told to leave the Royal Lodge in Windsor in the coming months after being stripped of his titles and has reportedly issued a list of demands
Andrew Mountbatten Windsor has allegedly issued a series of conditions before leaving Royal Lodge.
The former prince’s reputation has taken a severe anthem following revelations that he had been in contact with the late paedophile billionaire Jeffrey Epstein, despite claiming to have severed ties. Consequently, he was stripped of his titles and instructed to leave the Royal Lodge in Windsor in the upcoming months.
He has also received a formal invitation to testify before the US Congress about his knowledge of Epstein. Andrew has vehemently and consistently refuted any allegations of sexual misconduct involving underage individuals linked to Epstein.
According to MailOnline, Andrew is immediately reportedly demanding an adequate number of staff at his new residence, believed to be the private Sandringham Estate. He expects his extensive collection of teddy bears to be relocated with him and refuses to pack them until an agreement is reached regarding his new accommodation and caretakers.
Andrew has reportedly requested a cook, housekeeper, gardeners, and a butler. He also wishes to retain the freedom to move around as he desires, rather than being restricted to his home, reports the Mirror.
This alleged request comes amidst reports that Andrew has been barred from horse riding around Windsor Castle, although plans are said to be in place for him to walk around parts of the site away from public areas.
Andrew’s fall from grace started when his connections to Epstein emerged publicly, particularly after his catastrophic Newsnight interview. However, his former wife, Sarah Ferguson, is reportedly worried that further troubles lie ahead for Andrew.
A source speaking to The Sun revealed the pair, who continue to share the Royal Lodge despite their divorce, said: “She is particularly fearful for Andrew as she knows he was at the centre of the Epstein scandal.
“She has talked about ‘dark forces’ potentially targeting him. It is probably far-fetched but she is s***-scared and massively on edge.”
Fergie’s future and potential whereabouts remain uncertain. One expert has suggested the former Royal might even relocate abroad, as public anger appears unlikely to subside anytime soon.
