Days after the world was rocked by the arrest of Dr. Wendy Osefo and her husband, attorney Eddie Osefo, Bravo executive Andy Cohen has finally broken his silence.
Cohen revealed that he found out about the arrest at the same time as the rest of the world…when TMZ broke the news.
“I want to say that like all of you, I found out about the charges against Wendy and Eddie Osefo on Friday morning and there’s not much that I can say. I know nothing of the charges more than you guys do, than what I’ve read. I’m sad about this. I’m really sad about this,” said Cohen.
“I’m a Wendy fan and she has been a great housewife and a great role model,” Cohen continued. “She’s always led with education and her solid family values, and so I’m really thinking about her and her family and I’m certainly hoping that this is all some big nothing.”

On Sunday’s series What Happens Live With Andy Cohen, RHOP star Ashley Darby appeared as a guest but viewers were frustrated that Cohen did not ask her about the scandal.
“We had taped that before I went to L.A., so that is why you did not hear me asking Ashley her thoughts on that in case you were wondering,” Cohen explained.
According to the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office, Wendy and Eddie reported a burglary and theft on April 7, 2024, claiming that multiple items were stolen while they were on vacation. They filed claims to three different insurance companies and the amount was over $450,000. Several of the items claimed had already been returned to the stores, and some items, including an expensive anniversary ring, were allegedly worn on social media and in interviews by Wendy after they had been reported stolen.
