Although Australia and New England are worlds apart, Zimmermann somehow feels equally at home on Newbury Street. The brand’s delicate prints, confectionery crochets and ruffled lace frocks are boundless and timeless, from Sydney to Nantucket.

Vintage lamps by Gae Aulenti and Curtis Jeré light the cozy Saratoga lounge.
Tucked inside a late 19th-century building, the thoughtfully restored shop nods to its origins and an artistic, feminine spirit. “Our Boston boutique really celebrates its existing architectural influences, with our brand identity evident through its unique details and finishes,” says creative director Nicky Zimmermann, who co-founded the brand with her sister Simone.

A look inside the new Boston location.
Late Victorian architectural styles and a pressed tin ceiling anchor the Studio McQualter-designed space, dotted with vintage pieces. Along the walls hang ambrosial garments, accessories and artwork by Stephen Bird and Pierre Alechinsky—illuminated by warm, soft lighting.

The fall 2025 collection, Hypnotic, boasts chic pieces like the denim midi dress and spot shearling jacket.
Clients are guided into the accessories hallway by a vibrant, red rug and custom terrazzo flooring. Natural light bounces off the mirror walls and bespoke displays, softened by sage green trim. A vintage screen displaying scarves and belts marks your last stop before entering the Saratoga lounge. Whether exploring new styles in the dressing rooms or relaxing by the chrome and brass fireplace, the experience is luxurious yet inviting—like an creator knit together your favorite gallery and your coolest friend’s apartment. 83 Newbury St., zimmermann.com
