Colin Farrell is starring in the brand new teaser trailer for the upcoming “The Ballad of a Small Player” film adaptation!
The 49-year-old plays Lord Doyle, who gets caught up in gambling debt in the new movie, which is based on the novel of the same name by Lawrence Osborne.

Here’s a synopsis: Lord Doyle (Farrell) is laying low in Macau – spending his days and nights on the casino floors, drinking heavily and gambling what little money he has left. Struggling to keep up with his speedy-rising debts, he is offered a lifeline by the mysterious Dao Ming (Fala Chen), a casino employee with secrets of her own.
However, in hot pursuit is Cynthia Blithe (Tilda Swinton) – a private investigator ready to confront Doyle with what he is running from. As Doyle tries to climb to salvation, the confines of reality start to close in.

Also starring in the upcoming movie are Deanie Ip and Alex Jennings. Edward Berger serves as director and producer, with a script by Rowan Joffe.
Ballad of a Small Player will premiere in select theaters on October 15th and streaming on Netflix on October 29th!
