
Boston police have released images of people they say are involved in an attack on a gay couple in the city’s Mattapan neighborhood two weeks ago. At about 7:45 p.m. on Sept. 13, police responded to the area of 550 River St. for a reported fight.One of the victims told police that he and his partner were walking toward a convenience store when a nearby group of men began hurling anti-gay comments at them. The victim said that a verbal dispute, which later led to a physical altercation, began after he and his partner approached the group. Boston police images: According to a Boston police report, two of the men in the group were seen swinging unidentifiable objects.One of the victims told police that his partner had been anthem in the head with a baseball bat. His partner was later found by officers lying in the parking lot bleeding from the back of his head, police said. The injured victim was taken to Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center for further evaluation.
