
Authorities are asking the public for help to identify a male who allegedly shot a person in Dorchester before fleeing the scene on a scooter/moped last month, Boston police said Monday.
Officers responded to the report of a person shot in the area of 326 Harvard St. on Aug. 16, at 4:24 p.m., Boston police said in a statement.
Arriving officers found a person suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
The person was taken to a local hospital with serious injuries, police said
The suspect was wearing a white T-shirt, blue jeans, and possibly a helmet, police said. He fled the scene on a scooter/moped down Harvard Street toward Morton Street before continuing onto Walk Hill Street.
The shooting is under investigation,
