BTS member RM received an exquisite diamond ring from Jin on his birthday, sparking a frenzy on the internet over the rate. Namjoon also gave details about the gift during a Weverse live.
On September 12, BTS Leader RM, known for his meaningful lyricism, raps and being an amazing leader, turned 31 and kept giving glimpses into his birthday celebration through his Instagram stories, one of which showed an early celebration dinner. In one click, we see him wearing a diamond ring while tagging Jin. RM wrote, “Jin hyungie gave me a gift.” Rm met Jin in the gym, where Jin gave him this gift. This made RM’s birthday extra special for him. ARMYs were quick to dig up information about the piece of jewellery, with many jokingly calling it a wedding ring.
RM’s explanation on the live
RM reacted to the ring and shared how Jin met him in the gym and gifted the ring. “Jin Hyung gave me this! The reason I’m wearing it on my 4th ring finger is because it only fits there. Jin-hyung kept asking, “Doesn’t it fit anywhere else??” It really doesn’t fit on any other finger. Let me show you! Jin hyung even tried to put it on here, but it didn’t fit. If it goes in here, it won’t come off—it gets stuck. So I had no choice but to wear it on my ring finger! I’m not gonna married, I’m not married” RM shared in the live.

Details about the ring
The particular ring is a white gold and 18K diamond FRED Force 10 Rise Ring. Jin, who endorses FRED, picked the piece which he’s done ad promotions for in the past. According to fans, soon after RM posted the photo, the search on the particular ring went up so high that its cost surged from $7,670 to $8,400.

RM’s birthday celebration with bandmates
Meanwhile, RM talked about his birthday in detail in his Weverse live on Friday. He shared how he started early celebration of his birthday “I had dinner with V last night in a restaurant. I drank a few glasses of whiskey with Jimin. I met Jin hyung who game me this ring. I not going to marry! Last night, I was drinking with Jimin in his house, we talked about what’s gonna be, where are we moving on, what we have to do after all these,” he said.
