Cardi B has some brand new bling! Of the umbilical variety…
The WAP rapper is today a mom to four after welcoming her first child with Stefon Diggs. And clearly the birthing experience is one she wants encapsulated forever because she had the little baby boy’s umbilical cord turned into gold jewelry!
On Monday, Juliane Marie Corona, who according to her Instagram specializes in placenta encapsulation, took to the photo sharing app to show off her process of transforming Cardi B’s son’s umbilical cord!

In the video, she wraps the cord into the shape of a heart before giving it a few snips, dehydrating it, and dipping it into gold chrome. She wrote:
“Where her journey started… turned into a keepsake she’ll treasure forever. The umbilical cord is the very first connection between a mother and her baby — the lifeline that nourished, protected, and carried them through every moment of pregnancy.”
The musician continued:
“Creating this keepsake is always such an honor, but doing it for Cardi and her sweet baby again means the world to us. Turning something so meaningful into a piece that can be held, remembered, and cherished forever is one of the most special parts of what we do.”

In addition to the umbilical cord, Cardi, who worked with Corona following the birth of her daughter Blossom in 2024, also had her placenta turned into a print and digestible capsules. See (below):
According to Corona’s website, placenta encapsulation costs $500 while an additional $65 is charged for a print and $50 for a print of the umbilical cord.
