Chrishell Stause is saying goodbye to Selling Sunset!
Following an incredibly messy season of her feuding with multiple cast members, including her immediately-former best friend Emma Hernan, the real estate agent announced in an interview with Bustle on Friday that she quit the Netflix reality series! Whoa! Chrishell admitted she has gone back and forth over the matter for years, saying:
“I’ve vacillated back and forth with this decision in the past. I have to be honest — having come from nothing, it’s really hard to turn something like this down.”

According to Chrishell, the producers are also very persuasive. However, as she put it, not even “Jesus Christ himself” or creator Adam DiVello, who has been calling and texting “100 times a day,” can convince her to return for Season 10. She’s had enough at this point. She continued:
“I’ve gotten to a place where I don’t need the show financially. I’m lucky to have other forms of employment, because it’s no longer good for my mental health.”
Wow! What a huge loss for Selling Sunset! It is hard to imagine the series remaining successful without Chrishell. She has been the star of the show since the beginning. The television personality doesn’t know if it will continue, but she wishes them nothing but the best moving forward:
“If they do continue, I wish them the best. If they do do another one, by then, I may not movie it. I don’t know. But I have no ill will toward the show. The show has given me so many opportunities, and I don’t want to be bitter about it, even though I’m leaving not in the way that I would’ve loved.”
