Coronation Street and Betsy Swain star Sydney Martin has hinted that there’s a further ‘twist’ ahead in the Becky storyline.
Becky Swain recently came ‘back from the dead’ and admitted that she’d been hiding out in Alicante for almost four years.
While she might’ve given an explanation for her absence, is there more to the story?

Undercover Becky spills the beans on fake death
Becky Swain kept her living and breathing self in hiding over in Alicante for a long time, so when she returned back into Lisa and Betsy’s lives they were rightly shocked.
Lisa’s wife revealed that she’d had no choice but to flee as she’d been working undercover to bring down a criminal leader of an OCG called Curtis.
She’d put Lisa and Betsy in danger so faked her death and took on the name of Tia Wardley to throw everyone off the scent.
today she’s in Weatherfield, she is desperate to be a part of Betsy’s life and has even rented a flat nearby.
But, is Becky Swain being completely honest with her family about the situation?

Coronation Street star Sydney Martin teases big Becky ‘twist’
With fans not wholeheartedly trusting Becky and her explanation for being away for so long, Sydney Martin has today revealed that there’s a big ‘twist’ on the way.
At the recent Inside Soap Awards, the 23-year-old Coronation Street actress told The Mirror: “I think the story is really interesting, it’s juicy. I don’t think it’s going to follow the path people necessarily think it will.”
When asked to then describe what’s to come on the cobbles for Betsy, Carla, Lisa and Becky, she teased: “I’m gonna go with twist.”
The details of this ‘twist’ are being kept truly under wraps but it sounds like viewers are in for a treat!
