The Mrs Brown’s Boys actor leads the line-up for tonight’s episode of The 2 Johnnies Late Night Lock In and is joined by comedians PJ Gallagher and Anna Clifford
Danny O’Carroll, Anna Clifford and PJ Gallagher join the lads for episode three of The 2 Johnnies Late Night Lock In.
Actor Danny talks about playing the character of Buster in Mrs. Brown’s Boys and tells hosts Johnny B and Johnny Smacks that Buster is a “lovable rogue and the type of character who’d break into a bookies and lose 50 quid.”
He also recalls a story of auditioning for a boyband for Louis Walsh with the song A Whole New World from Aladdin and has tips on how to answer the phone when Jean-Claude Van Damme calls your home.
Plus, he shares his hidden talent of being able to balance pretty much anything on his face – including a bar stool and a baseball cap.
PJ Gallagher tells the lads about how terrifying stand up comedy can be and how he spent the guts of 20 years “cacking” himself.
PJ also chats about nicking knickers at the gym, having to cycle to his own christening in safari style shorts, co-parenting Stella the Staffy with his ex and how his two year old twins refuse to sleep.
Stand up comedian Anna Clifford gets the crowd chuckling with tales of how to stand up to bullies, the perils of modern dating and why she fancied a guy in a nappy.
In the Parish Quiz, Dean McGarry from Bekan in Co. Mayo and Mary Taaffe from Dromin in Co. Louth go head to head to win either an all expenses paid trip to Vegas or a free round of pool at their local pub.
For this and lots more chaotic craic tune in to The 2 Johnnies Late Night Lock In tonight on RTÉ2 and RTÉ Player at 9:35pm.
