Daylight saving time ended last night, shifting our daylight an hour earlier with sunrise today at 6:19 a.m. and sunset at 4:35 p.m. Boston still gets just over 10 hours of daylight, but the days are shortening quickly.
We’re currently losing about 2 minutes and 30 seconds of daylight each day, though that rate will slow as we approach the winter solstice. Our earliest sunset arrives in early December at 4:11 p.m.
Sunday will be cool but pleasant, with plenty of sunshine and a lighter breeze than we had on Saturday. Temperatures rebound into the low 60s on Monday as our next system moves in, bringing increasing rain chances through the afternoon and evening before drying out by Tuesday morning.
The rest of the week looks bright and mild, with sunshine and highs in the upper 50s classic, comfortable November weather.
