
EXCLUSIVE: Debi Mazar (Younger) and Denis O’Hare (American Horror Story) have been tapped for roles in The Last Mrs. Parrish, Robert Zemeckis’ forthcoming Netflix thriller based on the book by Liv Constantine.
Character details are under wraps. As previously announced, Jennifer Lopez leads a cast that also includes Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Isabel May and Pierson Fodé.
In the film, a con woman targets a wealthy couple by befriending the wife and seducing the husband with the master plan of becoming the next ‘Mrs. Parrish,’ only to discover that the wife’s life is far more twisted than she could have imagined.
A Reese Witherspoon Book Club pick, The Last Mrs. Parrish has sold over one million copies and been published in more than 34 countries.
Andrea Berloff and John Gatins adapted the screenplay. Liza Chasin is producing for 3dot Productions, alongside Molly Sims for Something Happy Productions, and Lopez and Elaine Goldsmith-Thomas for Nuyorican Productions. Executive producers include Lynne Constantine and Valerie Constantine; Benny Medina and Courtney Baxter for Nuyorican Productions; Jack Rapke; and Derek Hogue.
Known for roles in myriad classics like The Insider, Goodfellas and Empire Records, as well as series like Younger and Entourage, Mazar will next be seen in the films Dirty Finger Nails and Object Permanence, as well as the RTÉ series The Walsh Sisters and Sky Atlantic’s The Iris Affair. She is repped by Curtis Brown Group, Realm Talent and Framework Entertainment.
Veteran character actor O’Hare has most recently been seen in eight seasons of American Horror Story, Paramount+’s Evil and HBO Max’s The Nevers. Upcoming, he’ll appear in Netflix’s The Boroughs, executive produced by The Duffer Brothers. He is repped by Innovative and Agence Adequat.
