“From the Jonas Brothers to Miley and Demi, it’s good to see them all do their thing,” Selena had said at the time.
“I heard clips she said on the podcast. It was really, really sweet,” Demi responded on WWHL.
She added that she “couldn’t be happier” for Selena amid the Benny engagement news, and added “I just wish her the best.”
Demi confirmed she’d heard I Said I Love You First, calling it a “really, really great job” and shouting out “Bluest Flame” as a favorite.
“I love the songs on it,” she added.
The two first met on the set of Barney & Friends at around 7 years old, going on to become Disney Channel stars. Their relationship has reportedly had its ups and downs, but they have continued to say positive things about each other in recent years.
