Denise Richards Accuses Aaron Phypers of Physical Abuse, Granted Restraining Order Amid Split
Denise Richards is done glossing over her personal drama.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum broke her silence on her divorce from estranged husband Aaron Phypers—who filed to end the marriage in July—telling her social media followers she couldn’t continue “posting on Instagram like nothing’s going on… because there’s something obviously going on.”
“It’s so hard to go through a divorce,” Denise, 54, said in a video shared on the platform Aug. 21. “This isn’t my first one, it’s my second one, and I never thought I’d get divorced again. This is why I always say, ‘Never, say never.’”
While the actress—who is mom to daughters Sami Sheen, 21, and Lola Sheen, 20, with ex-husband Charlie Sheen as well as adopted daughter Eloise Richards, 14—got candid about her breakup, she did not share details about the ongoing proceedings, including the temporary restraining order she was granted after accusing Aaron, 52, of physical abuse. (He has denied the allegations.)
