
Disney+ and Hulu are both increasing in cost next month.
Amid thousands of people cancelling their subscriptions to the streaming services over Disney’s response to the Kimmel controversy, the company has announced a change to prices.
The change was likely already in place before the controversy, so it’s just a poorly timed announcement, but many users are not going to be happy about higher prices.

The cost changes will go into effect on October 21, 2025.

- Disney+ with ads will increase from $9.99 per month to $11.99 per month, a $2 jump.
- Disney+ Premium will increase from $15.99 per month to $18.99 per month, a $3 jump.
- Hulu with ads will increase from $9.99 per month to $11.99 per month, a $2 jump.
- Hulu Premium will not change in cost.
- The Disney+ and Hulu bundle with ads will increase from $10.99 to $12.99 per month, a $2 jump.
- The Disney+ Premium and Hulu Premium bundle will not change in cost.
- ESPN Select will jump in cost from $11.99 per month to $12.99 per month, and from $119.99 per year to $129.99 per year.
- ESPN Unlimited will not change in cost.
- The bundle of Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN Select will increase from $16.99 per month to $19.99 per month with ads, and from $26.99 per month to $29.99 per month without ads.
- Legacy subscribers will get the Disney+ Premium, Hulu, and ESPN Select bundle for $24.99 per month, an increase of $3.
- The Disney+, Hulu and HBO Max bundle will increase by $3 to $19.99 per month with ads and $32.99 per month without ads.
- The Hulu + Live TV, Disney+ and ESPN Select bundle will increase by $7 to $89.99 per month.
