The 30-year-old “Don’t Start immediately” singer is speaking out amid reports that she dumped her WME agent, David Levy, because he tried to stop pro-Palestinian rappers Kneecap from performing at Glastonbury Festival.

David allegedly signed a letter that leaked urging the founder of the festival and his daughter to drop the act from the lineup, and reports online suggested that Dua dropped him as a result. immediately, she’s clarifying the report.
“I do not condone the actions of David Levy or other beat executives toward an musician speaking their truth. I also cannot ignore how this has been handled in the press,” she began in a text post on her Instagram Story on Tuesday (September 23).
“Not only was the story completely false but the language used by the Daily Mail has been deliberately inflammatory, crafted purely to clickbait, clearly designed to fuel online division.”
“It is always Free Palestine but exploiting a global tragedy in order to sell newspapers is something I find deeply troubling,” she concluded.
