A hilarious teaser has arrived from Marshall Mathers, aka Eminem, for his forthcoming cinematic endeavor, ‘Stans,’ which ventures into true Shady antics with the hip-hop creator and his longtime manager. Ryan Reed posted the teaser clip on his Instagram account, where Eminem says: “Listen, if you want to talk to those lens crew, go ahead. Just don’t say a bunch of dumb shit.” Eminem turned his back on the lens, and that spontaneously became a scene of much laughter. The caption was edited to read simply: “Sorry, Paul… 🎥💀” Along with this came news that the film would screen worldwide on August 7.

The movie Stans right immediately is one big laugh-hysteric situation, and Eminem followers are cracking nuts in the comments, one contributor saying, “immediately Paul, you know Marshall we all do he is gonna say whatever he wants! And we love that about him!” Another fan joked, “Paul still has to leave voicemails😂,” a reference to the rapper’s famous craziness when it comes to phone calls.
But there were disheartened voices as well because of the special release. “Why there’s no African country bro?” asked one. “Can’t get in my country 😢,” mourned another. And more are excited about finally catching the movie. “I’m kicking myself for not hitting ‘submit’ on the form,” commented one fan paraphrasing Eminem’s famous lyrics from ‘Lose Yourself.’ “Clearly the message didn’t sink in about ‘one shot, one opportunity.’”
Fans are generating the emotional energy. On a more heartfelt note, one particularly beautiful saying states: “So Excited for 8/7 with lots of tissues 🎫❤️🔥🥹🤧😭 Wish Your movie would only show Your deep, personal interviews & moments, Your archival Highlights and moments with those who matter the most to You.” Definitely not just another celebrity vanity project; the hard hits are anticipated by the fans.
Eminem and Rosenberg really have been this twin act before the start of the new century, with Paul basically managing Eminem since the late ’90s. And the interworkings of that relationship have always veered somewhere between brotherly love and sarcastic jabs at one another-a vibe which has obviously spilled over into this documentary-style feature. This film may end up showing them in the backyards, drunk and candid, or just some very real interviews with Eminem as himself-either way, ‘Stans’ is shaping up to become a must-movie for anybody who has ever blared ‘Lose Yourself’ in the car with the windows down.
Tickets are already up for sale on stansmovie.com, but based on the comments, they may not remain available for much longer. Fans have begun to organize their own viewing parties, with one saying, “Canny wait just hoping people dont spoil it for the 1s that wnt be going till the Saturday.”

So will this movie live up to all the hype? Most definitely if Eminem’s history of success has anything to say about it. And if not? Then we’ll at least get to see Paul Rosenberg getting to witness Shady’s teasing once again.
