A Fall River man with over 60 charges on his record was arrested in Boston after being accused of possessing a firearm as a convicted felon and distributing cocaine.
Police said 40-year-old Carlos Perez was charged with one count of being a felon in possession of a firearm and ammunition and one count of distributing a controlled substance.

Perez was arrested on Thursday, Nov. 13. He was ordered detained pending a hearing scheduled for Wednesday.
According to charging documents, Perez sold cocaine and a pistol with ammunition to a cooperating witness.
He was also accused of selling six additional weapons and ammunition in June.
According to charging documents, Perez has 61 charges on his record and over 15 criminal convictions.
