Regan’s darkly comic series is about the inner life of a crime clan. It is billed as a story about soaring romance, crushing heartbreak and what love might feel like when everyone outside of your family is terrified of you. Regan created the show and directs from her own script. The drama was shot in Glasgow and filming wrapped earlier this year.
The show is heading to MIPCOM Cannes, the biggest TV market of the year, with BBC Studios handling international sales.

Deadline brought you news that Laird (The Brutalist) was starring in Mint back in March. Alongside Coyle-Larner, the cast includes Sam Riley (Control), Laura Fraser (Breaking Bad), Lewis Gribben (Somewhere Boy), and Lindsay Duncan (TrueLove).
Laird plays Shannon, the naïve and fiercely romantic daughter of the area’s leading crime family. Shannon is looking for love in the shadow of her gangster father, Dylan (Riley), devoted mum Cat (Fraser), older brother Luke (Gribben) and family matriarch, grandma Ollie (Duncan). The arrival of Arran (Coyle-Larner) shakes things up.
