CHARLESTON, S.C. – The Eagles are on the road for the final time in 2025, traveling to The Holy City for a contest with Davidson at the Shriners Children’s Charleston Classic. Tip off is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. (ET), with action being broadcasted live on ESPN2.
BOSTON COLLEGE VS. DAVIDSON – ALL-TIME SERIES
- Today marks the second all-time meeting between BC and Davidson.
- The Eagles hold the lone victory in the series, defeating the Wildcats 72-67 on December 29, 1970 in Charlotte, N.C.
- This is the first time both teams will face each other on a neutral site.
BOSTON COLLEGE vs. A-10 CONFERENCE
- The Eagles are 85-63 all-time vs. current A10 Conference teams.
- Boston College’s most recent contest against an A10 team was back in the 2023-24 season. The Eagles defeated the Richmond Spiders, 68-61, in Conte Forum.
- Davidson will be the only A10 representative that BC faces.
LAST TIME OUT
- Boston College toppled Hampton, 63-52, Tuesday evening on The Edgerley Family Court at Conte Forum in their inaugural meeting.
- Fred Payne led the way with 14 points, adding three assists and two steals. Jason Asemota and Luka Toews flourished off the bench, contributing eight points each as the bench scored 31 points on the evening.
- It’s the second straight game and third time this season the Eagles have held their opponent to 35% or under shooting from the field.
EDGERLEY FAMILY COURT
- The basketball court at Silvio O. Conte Forum will officially be named the Edgerley Family Court starting this season.
- The Edgerley’s are active members of the Parents Leadership Council and are supporters of undergraduate financial aid at Boston College, having co-chaired Pops on the Heights in 2023 and 2024.
- Sandra Edgerley serves on the Boston College Board of Trustees, where she is a member of the Academic Affairs Committee. Paul Edgerley is a senior advisor at Bain Capital, where he was a managing director and played a leadership role for more than 30 years.
- The court is a lasting symbol of the Edgerleys’ commitment to enhancing the tradition of excellence at Boston College.

CAREER ACCOMPLISHMENTS
- Boden Kapke logged a career-high 17 points, and Fred Payne dished a career-high seven assists against FAU (11/3).
- Marko Radunovic and Caleb Steger made their collegiate debuts against FAU. Radunovic recorded eight points, going 2-3 from behind the arc, and Steger played five minutes with two field goal attempts. Caleb Steger registered his first career points with a 3-pointer against The Citadel. He finished the night with eight points, going 2-for-3 from deep.
- Jason Asemota flourished in the home-opener against The Citadel (11/6), grabbing a career-high nine points and adding four rebounds to lead all bench scorers.
- Chase Forte swatted a career-high three blocks against Central Connecticut State (11/11).
- Aidan Shaw secured a career-high 14 rebounds and matched a career-high in blocks (5) against Temple (11/15). He became the first BC player to record five or more blocks since Quinten Post did against Louisville (2/13/24).
- Shaw dished a career-high three assists against Hampton (11/18).
SIZZLING STREAKS
- Fred Payne currently rides a three game streak of double digit scoring (17 vs. CCSU, 17 at Temple, and 14 vs. Hampton).
- Aidan Shaw continues his streak of at least eight rebounds per game. He has recorded eight rebounds exactly in four of five games this season.
INSTANT IMPACT
- The freshmen tandem of Radunovic and Steger have translated well through the first two games, combining for 6.0 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 1.2 assists per game.
- Kapke, Chase Forte, Jason Asemota, and Aidan Shaw are making their presence known on Chestnut Hill. The quadruple is averaging a combined 28.2 points, 19.4 rebounds, 5.0 assists, 3.4 blocks and 2.0 steals per game.
- Individually, Shaw leads the team in rebounds (9.5), and Forte ranks second in assists (3.0) and steals (1.4).
RISING ABOVE THE CROWD
- Boston College is making their mark nationally through the first five games this season.
- Defensively, the Eagles rank 19th in the nation and third in the ACC in blocks per game (6.2). Hastings is tied for 25th in the NCAA and fourth in the ACC individually in total blocks (9).
